Soulful Healing for
Body, Mind, and Spirit

Dr. Amy E. Stein, PhD, LCSW, MSW
PA License #CW017495

As a compassionate, holistic, and existential therapist, I believe that healing is a deeply personal journey. I approach each session with empathy, respect, and a commitment to your unique path toward growth and recovery. I work collaboratively with each client to develop personalized strategies and provide tools for overcoming obstacles and achieving lasting change.

Whether you’re struggling with the weight of past trauma or PTSD, trying to manage the challenges of ADHD, coping with grief and loss, feeling weighed down by anxiety, depression, or addiction, or struggling with communication in your relationships, I am here to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for you to explore, process, and heal. I offer an eclectic blend of therapeutic approaches using cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, harm-reduction and moderation management, mindfulness meditation, ecotherapy, somatic therapy, attachment theory, and creative expression.

Together, we will work on building resilience, increasing self-awareness, and developing healthy coping mechanisms that empower you to take control of your mental and emotional well-being. If you’re ready to take the first step toward a healthier, more balanced life, I’m here to help. I look forward to supporting you in creating the change you seek!

Learning

Many people are understandably anxious prior to a first session. As indicated from feedback from clients, I am warm (client-centered), validating, empathic and empowering. During our meetings, we will explore some of your life history and presenting issues. I offer guidance to help you improve communication in relationships, identify repressed emotions and unmet needs, and understand and recognize how symptoms of substance use, ADHD, PTSD, trauma, depression, grief and loss, and anxiety affect you. Between sessions, I encourage individuals to utilize coping skills, read recommended literature, nurture creative expression, and self-reflect, all of which may help restore serenity to your life, improve mood, regulate emotion, enhance relationships, increase self-awareness, and help attain your desired goals.
